The nationwide campaign by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) aims to make the country a premier destination for romance. Throughout the month, couples can access exclusive privileges, luxurious experiences, and memorable moments in breathtaking locations.
Grand Kickoff in Bangkok
The “Amazing Thailand Romance Month” celebration officially started on February 1, 2025, with a grand event at Central World and Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok. The launch featured key tourism officials, including TAT Governor Ms. Thapanee Kiatphaibool and Deputy Governor Mr. Siripakorn Cheawsamoot.
During the event, officials released 20 tuk-tuks to symbolize promoting key tourist routes in Bangkok, such as Siam Square and Sukhumvit. Moreover, it set the stage for a month filled with romance, luxury, and adventure.
Exclusive Privileges for Couples
Throughout February, couples visiting Thailand can take advantage of exclusive privileges at major international airports. For instance, from February 1-16, 2025, travelers arriving at Suvarnabhumi, Don Mueang, Phuket, and Chiang Mai International Airports will receive special gifts and travel perks. Furthermore, these
“Amazing Thailand Romance Month” privileges will enhance the couples’ romantic experience in Thailand.
To participate, couples must pre-register online before their trip to receive a QR code. Upon arrival, they can present their QR code at designated booths to claim their rewards. These perks range from shopping discounts and spa vouchers to romantic dining experiences and cultural tours.
Must-Do Experiences in Thailand
Apart from “Amazing Thailand Romance Month”, TAT has also curated five must-do activities. Through these, the authority hopes to help couples immerse themselves in Thai culture and romance, namely:
