Thailand is making digital enhancements to its entry process with the launch of the new Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC). Beginning May 1, 2025, the TDAC will effectively replace the old paper TM6 arrival form.
A Step Toward Smart Tourism
With the digital arrival card, the Thai government is aiming to streamline immigration and modernize tourism. Hence, the TM6 form will soon become history. Correspondingly, foreign travelers must complete the TDAC online before entering the country, regardless of their entry method.
However, there are exceptions. For instance, transit passengers not passing through immigration and travelers with border passes are exempt.
Arrival Card: Essential Information
Specifically, travelers must complete the TDAC within 72 hours before arrival. They can submit their details through the official platform: tdac.immigration.go.th. They have the option to apply for an individual submission or a group submission.
Overall, the digital arrival card collects personal, travel, and health information. In particular, it includes the traveler’s full name, passport details, visa number, and address in Thailand.
Moreover, travelers must list countries they visited in the past 14 days. This helps the Ministry of Public Health track health risks.
After completing the form, travelers receive a PDF version. Next, they must download or print it and present it on arrival.
How to Fill Out the Arrival Card
Firstly, access the TDAC site and choose “Arrival Card.” Next, enter your personal information and travel details, including your purpose of stay and accommodation address.
Afterward, complete the health section and provide a valid email address. Finally, review all information, accept the terms, and submit the form. The entire process is fast and user-friendly.

Previously, the Thailand Immigration Bureau explained that the new arrival card system improves efficiency and security. As a result, Thailand hopes to reduce immigration wait times and improve the tourist experience.
Additionally, the TDAC links to multiple systems. It integrates with the E-Visa platform, disease control systems, and tourism databases. Hence, this smart connection ensures accurate data verification and better service coordination.
